Hot Work (K20-EN-2026)


Description

The course is mandatory for anyone who will be working with hot work. The course provides you with a basic understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to anyone who will be performing hot work. It covers risk assessment for the work, the hazards associated with different equipment and at different work sites. There will be a review of protective measures to minimize risk, as well as procedures for extinguishing fires.

The online course is flexible and practical, allowing you to take the course in a way that suits you. You are welcome to split the course into several sessions to best suit your situation.

To receive a certificate of competence, the following must be approved


• Pass the theoretical exam in the course

• Documentation of fire extinguishing exercises must be submitted no later than three months after completing the course.


A separate form to be filled out is provided in the course, as well as instructions for completing the practical fire extinguishing exercise. 


Course length: ~7.5 hours


The price includes a digital textbook, workbook, and certificate in the app. 


Our hot work course is approved by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association and updated in accordance with the new safety regulations 2026.

The course has been developed in line with Curriculum 2026 and follows the Requirements Specification for E-learning Courses 2026.


You will receive a digital certificate from the Norwegian Fire Protection Association upon completion. The certificate you receive is valid for 5 years.
